Silvie Aigner
Graduated from the University of Vienna in Art History, postgraduate studies in Cultural Management at the Danube University Krems. Head of Artscope International’s Vienna offices from 1991 to 1994. Regular publication in art history journals, exhibit catalogs, and artist monographies. Lectures and exhibit openings. Silvie Aigner is an active author and curator specialized in contemporary art for international and Austrian museums and collections. Publisher of the scientific book series res urbanae and a three-volume publication on art in Carinthia from 1945 till today. Since 2005, she has joined up with Theresia Hauenfels to organize exhibit symposiums and projects for the raumimpuls gallery in Waidhofen/Ybbs.
